Details

This is a backpacker’s size guide to the now classic book that inspired so many people to forage for food once again. It’s tiny, light and can easily fit in a back pocket. At the same time it is still practical and encouraging and also has recipes to try out. It covers plants (including trees), fungi, seaweed and shellfish. It has those essential harvesting guidelines so we don’t inadvertently denude the countryside, and a monthly calendar of what’s available to gather and when. A great little book for the pocket and comes highly recommended.
