- There is much here for everyone interested in the establishment and management of ecovillages. Review by Jonathan Dawson, review in Permaculture magazine
-
...this is what the book is about: how to create a shared vision (and have this reflected in vision documents), finding the right property, financing the buy-out, working with local planners and lawyers, the various options in terms of legal entities, effective decision-making structures, working with conflict... All the practical stuff that would-be ecovillagers are hungry for. All the method and discipline that needs to go with the vision. There is much here for everyone interested in the establishment and management of ecovillages. At last, I now have a source-book to be able to hand to those protesting, "well, that's all very well, but how would we do it in practice". (Posted on 02/07/2010)Review
