- ...a valuable resource for anyone wanting to make maximum use of seasonal produce Review by Graham Burnett
-
Written by a trustee of the Vegan Organic Network, this attractively laid out and easy-to-read cookery book does what it says on the tin. This is intended for farmers and commercial growers who wich to adopt animal-friendly organic growing pracitces and market their produce accordingly, and can be considered as complementary to the Soil Association quality mark. Other than this, Vegan Rustic Cooking is chock full of 160 down to earth and unfussy recipes for soups, pates, and spreads, sauces, main meals, puddings and baked goods.Review
Anybody that still subscribes to the old stereotype of the thin, pasty and undernourished 'typical vegan' subsisting on a diet of garlic museli should do themselves a favour and pick up a copy. Not only will this book dispel the myths, it's also a valuable resource for anyone wanting to make maximum use of seasonal produce whatever their dietary preferences. We highly recommend the new edition of this popular classic, with it s wide variety of easy-to-make, mouth watering dishes which use seasonal produce. It proves that vegan food can be delicious and appetising, as well as highly nutritious. (Posted on 01/07/2010)Review - A practical, interesting book Review by Green Parent

A practical, interesting book, which will inspire culinary experimentation. Many of the recipes are easy enough for children to undertake with a little parental support. (Posted on 01/07/2010)Review - The recipes here are rich and rewarding. Review by Organic Gardening

The recipes here are rich and rewarding. It is a book for gardeners and I would recommend it not only to vegans but to everyone who feels that eating fewer animal products would be easier on the planet. (Posted on 01/07/2010)Review
