- this book wears no ‘badge’ of belief, but rather encourages our own right-relations between ourselves and the earth Review by Maddy Harland, editor Permaculture magazine
-
Glennie Kindred is known for her collection of books about Celtic festivals, native British trees, healing the Earth, and hedgerow medicine. My favourite are her illustrated hand-sewn books that she produces herself. This book is the latest in that collection and is described as a guide to the transformational alchemy of the five elements: spirit, fire, water, earth and air. It explores the idea that by positively changing ourselves using techniques such as non-violent communication and inner reflection, our ripple effect will spread to our friends, families, communities and bring change into the wiser world.Review
Glennie is very careful to write inclusively and this book wears no ‘badge’ of belief, but rather encourages our own right-relations between ourselves and the earth. Elements of Change is bound to be appreciated.
