A wonderful kit which contains everything you needed to make fire before matches were invented. A large piece of Flint stone, a traditional Swedish steel striker, hand forged to an old Nordic design, Amadou tinder, shavings of "fat wood" from Scandinavian pine tree stumps, and a bundle of dried grass, all enclosed in a reindeer hide pouch. Makes an interesting, useful and educational present.
