This cleverly designed solar powered LED security light works by a compact solar panel recharging a replaceable three AA NiMH battery pack. It takes only a few minutes to put up and can of course be placed in locations which would be unrealistic to do with a mains powered unit. The solar panel can be fixed anywere within 1.8m (6ft) of the light unit. The light is triggered by an adjustable PIR detector and produces a very reasonable pool of light. Two year UK warranty.
